Why does Senator Inhofe insist that Americans from Newtown CT don't have anything to do with gun control?
In an interview with a reporter, he stated they had nothing to do with the the impending debate. Pro or con, why would he dismiss those folks? Did he think such a statement would not be on the "dumb things I've said" list?

And just to be clear, my daughter joined the Navy afer 9/11.in service to her country and family legacy for 7 years, American pride is still alive and well no matter what you're told to believe.

b/c if he admitted to it, then the GC debate would be thrown out with the daogs. b/c obviously the families of those effected would want some kind of GC as their emotions are high.
