taser in middle school?

Some kid in my school brought a taser/stungun ( I don't know the difference but he said it was a taser) to school and even turned it on (it didn't hit anyone) he said his mom got it from her friend. It also has a flashlight. He's in 6th grade. Should I report it to my parents and the school? I would hate it if someone got hurt.

    Either a taser or a stun gun is considered a weapon. That makes them illegal to possess in the school. Yes, it should be reported.

    People dont get hurt from tazers. They just do a really funny dance for 5 to 8 seconds.
