They Probably blew out from blasting your audio. Take it in to a radio shack or something of that sort of computer shop.

At first i thought there was no way it was once a sound card crisis b/c if it was the sound card, neither the headphones or inside audio system would work... However i up-to-date and reinstalled drivers anyway. No luck. Then i noticed the audio system would usually work for a 2nd when I eliminated the headphone jack. I then knew it was once a brief within the jack connection or just a unhealthy connector within the jack. Sooo, I simply plugged in the headphone jack a bunch of instances and after about 20 seconds the speakers have been working simply high-quality and i have not had a challenge seeing that! Sounds loopy but it labored for me. Hope this helps :)

I'm having the same problem. What was the problem with the sound issue on the Toshiba? What did you do to repair it?

Go into control panel and check that the speakers are still listed as a device, if not, take it in for repairs, they're damaged.
