Do you think TNA will ever be a threat to the WWE?

Personally, I don't watch TNA, with the exception of a few clips on youtube just to see how some of the former WWE stars are doing. But when I watch these clips and I look at the crowd, there looks like there aren't even 5,000 people in the stands.

What do you guys think?

No, I can't see it happening, they got out of Orlando recently and away from that soundstage at Universal Studios, traveling to different cities I think is going to help them and the arenas do look bigger than what TNA was doing in Orlando, but TNA just confuses me, all this bitching about the WWE and yet they sign all WWE former talent, even model their programming after WWE programming and hire people from WWE to run the company!

They really aren't doing anything to stand out as it's own company, we just see them copying WWE's style down to a tee, and the bad thing about that, is WWE does it better, so they just come off as a inferior version of WWE, Sorry TNA!

At ak47pro2: Is that why the statistical demographics show that the majority of WWE viewers today are in the adult 18-34 key audience? How about the fact that the highest kid/preteen audience the WWE ever had was during the Attitude Era?

TNA will never be a threat to WWE.

    yes and no

TNA already has the wrestling down pact but the problem is they need a break out star and storyline like the WCW had with the NWO and WWE with DX and John Cena, the moment TNA has that then they will be seen as a threat it's not like TNA isn't on Vince's radar (come on Evan Bourne's gimmick is basically reminiscent of AJ. Styles and Umaga was their version of Samoa Joe) he knows it's there and recognizes it as a legit competitor with instances of TNA chants and signs being quieted and taken (best way to keep your competitor down is to not let your fans know it exists) but I just don't see Vince caring to much about them to think full on war

but eventually TNA might find a niche and a star and who knows

Wwe has been around for over 20 years and tna has only be around for 11 so give it about 10 more years and well see the difference.

In my opinion i think tna will beat wwe in viewers ect. It just needs time to get more and more popular.

No. WWE is #1 wrestling promotion in the world, and unlike TNA, WWE is actually mention alot in mainstream media and pop culture. TNA, on the other hand, has no real publicity whatsoever.

    Source(s): WWE fan since 2002.

    They are 2 different companies.

TNA attracts hardcore fans and teens.

    WWE attracts kids and preteens.

    So no.

Vince likes to rip people off.

Dixie Carter likes to show pro wrestling.

They will never be a major threat to WWE. WWE can go full TV-G and will still get more viewers.
