anyone else hear about the gun grab in new york state?

yes it is true,

right after the sandy hook shooting nys lawmakers in all of their wisdom passed many ilconceved laws which they then used to grab this guys guns, but not only did they use these laws they used them against one of the few these laws do not cover he wasn't in violation of any of these new laws , that's right they thought they had everyone covered and the first guy they make public and blast all over the news is not breaking any of them

NOW LETS HEAR ALL OF YOU SAY THEY ARE NOT COMING FOR YOUR GUNS

My question is ... how did the state of New York find out about the medications this guy was on?

Here is a link to one of the many news articles on this subject.

Perhaps a search of medical records without warrant supported by probable cause? Wouldn't that violate the rights of the individual as guaranteed by the fourth amendment?

No due process, no appeals process ... just termination of the pistol permit and an order to turn in your guns or face prosecution. Kind of sounds like a resident of the state of New York is being deprived of property in apparent violation of rights guaranteed by the fifth amendment.

Of course, who is surprised that New York is trampling on the rights of the residents of the state as guaranteed by the Constitution?

Yes, it applies to people who the medical profession deems a risk to others or themselves

And yes, the State recognized it made a mistake and gave the guy his guns back. He will probably also be compensated for "damages". Surely it wasn't the State's intent to take the wrong person's guns though.

Unless your doctor thinks you are a threat to society, THEY ARE NOT COMING FOR YOUR GUNS

Who do you serve when you leave important facts out of your question?

bad news, they are coming for the people who dropped out after 8th grade. So you should be very afraid!

    "This guy."

    Now there's a powerful argument.
