arsenal fans....why doesnt wenger start the ox every game?

from what i see he came on and changed the game. hes hungry for games...yet wenger insists on putting him on bench. also does anyone know why our 1st choice keeper wasnt even in squad?

Update:

i dont believe what im reading guys...hes capable of playing 2-3 games a week easy. he doesnt pick up injurys like walcott. infact i think hes strong on the ball

Update 2:

@goldoski and the kid. so you reckon that gerv should start every game and then the ox be a sub every game. when you leave a player out for 2 weeks you take that match sharpness away!

Update 3:

@mike great answer. i dont want the kid to lose interest by sitting on bench until 80mins of games. one of the big clubs will come in with offer for him to play regular and he will be off. that would be huge blow.

Update 4:

@goldoski i never said anything about pushing walcott out of the team. YES gerv has had a few gd games recently but thats it. hes been like arshavin for me very poor overall.

i think the only reason our team has gone on this run of form, is because they suddenly realised spurs were ahead of us. and we were gona lose out on CL footy!! if that happens(which it still could). where as a club will we be!!

....Because Fabianski has been fantastic since the performance at the Allianz, he's not played for a year, he's sharp, he's eager and focused.

As for Ox and Szsesney Let me ask you, how does Hunger develop?...through depravity. You don't develop the same hunger and devour the opportunity in the same way if it's expected, you take something away from someone they then put said object/granted place into perspective, they remember why they wanted it in the first place.

When you rest a player for 2 weeks without games, you don't just recharge their energy, they get hungry.

Edit: Ino Ox is strong, he's got flair, agility and Pace, but do you simply push Walcott out the team, Gervinho out the team? Both were great yesterday, Gervinho too has been superb since munich, we're playing as a team, Ox was on against Swansea as well, Rotation is perfect and the team is on point right now, why question it?

Edit2:...I'm not trying to prove you wrong you idiot, I'm trying to tell you theres no needs to worry. Two weeks off the ball makes you lose sharpness? Jack Wilshere cameback from injury from a year ago, he didn't touch a ball for 12 months and it took him 1 month to go back to form. Fabianski had been out for even longer and he's sharp as a tip. Stop worrying about it, fact is, if you favour players over others, the players left on the bench consistently for like 2 months straight, then they develop a different desire...to leave. By rotating, we've become better and everyone wants to play, chill the hell out.

He doesn't want that much pressure on him. He's afraid he will burn out, and never fully blossom.

Just look at Walcott or Szczesny. I think it's a good idea to play him as a sub for the next year or two.

    first answer is correct.

Ox would burn himself out and get negated by the opposition if he started games - at his age, with his hunger, enthusiasm and pace etc

hes deadlier when you bring him on late.

    Most youngsters are imo.

too risky and too stupid to use him from the first minute to the last.

he'd deteriorate rapidly and become average v.fast if Wenger tried to use him the way you are asking he be used.

Ox seems to do better when he is subbed on, he tires when on for 90 mins.

he seems better when he comes on as a sub...he's a pace merchant so it's best used near the end of the games.

We can't afford to let one of our better players sit on the bench to get him hungry.

You could chop one of his legs off and he would be better than Gervinho.

Because he does not want to put to much pressure on a young kid
