How to install wood stove?
I have a small new wood stove, and I would like to install it in my basement. I already have a chimney with a flue that has been inspected. I need to learn how to set it up and protect the walls near it, etc. Not having much luck with online resources. The setup will be an "L" shaped exhaust from the top of the stove into a hole in the side of the chimney. Any forums or other resources that are handy?

I'm surprised that you aren't having any luck with online resources, because googling "wood stove installation" brings me many sites with all kinds of info. And I've read many of them since I was thinking of installing a wood stove in my house. I found out what I needed to know. The Mother Earth News website has a very long article. Various government websites have info. There are videos and photos on some of them. I can't even tell from your question exactly what it is you need to know, so you're going to have to check websites until you find it, or post a very specific question.
Did your stove not come with a manual? They usually do, and you need one to understand what clearances are acceptable for that stove and how any assembly is to be done.
You also need to know what local laws require. In most cases, what's recommended by the stove manufacturer is what is legal, but if in doubt or in case of conflicting requirements, you have to go by your local laws.

Go to the local wood stove retailer and purchase a maintenance and Installation manual for your stove. Also read the local fire codes and the inspection paperwork from the AHJ. Much of what you want to learn is in these sources.
