    You make an interesting point and I would have to say that it is. Not clinically narcissistic mind you, of course humans by nature are a bit narcissistic, but I have to say I don't think it is a healthy habit. Given that our minds are predisposed to think we are the center of the universe, a platform for sharing every step we take with the world can only encourage that kind of thinking.

    Source(s): I do not tweet or post on facebook or any of the like because I have always found it pompous and unnecessary to share my every thought with society in general. It is nothing but word pollution on a massive scale. Also, the mind is a fascinating thing. :)

    Nope because these social networking people never show their true pictures of themselves. A narcissistic person would never put a fake picture of themselves because that is considered being insecure.
