Will Jeremy Mayfield get Kevin Harvick's seat at RCR?

Kevin Harvick is going to Stewart Haas for 2014. Is Jeremy Mayfield at the top of the list for a replacement driver?

Childress might as well give it to him. He seems like he's trying very hard to completely destroy his team, so, why not?

specific, i'm very pleased that Kevin and RCR have been in a position to conform to a settlement extension. RCR seems making super advancements this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, and it shows in all 3 communities. i don't be attentive to if the advancements might proceed on the value they're if Burton, Harvick, or perhaps Bowyer weren't all there. Harvick is interior the factors lead, Burton has raced like he's a guy on fireplace, and Bowyer began the three hundred and sixty 5 days off working o.k.. in the event that they save issues getting in this course, RCR will as quickly as returned be a precise-tier team.

It's possible. On a radio show a few months ago with Eli Gold, Brian France did tell Jeremy Mayfield that there was a "Welcome Mat in NASCAR as long as he completed their rehab course."

Jeremy said "thank you, that's all I needed to know!"

Jeremy's wife tweeted later...."Good to hear it straight from the top! Yes, that really was Jeremy on the radio today."

Richard is making room for his grandson. Austin Dillon will move up to Sprint Cup, and I believe we might see the #3 back in cup.

This change is being made to assure Richard's grandson a ride in a car that already has points.

I doubt it. Mayfield messed up real bad. I think his career his probably toast. It's possible but...eh...

  • Not a chance.

Mayfield pissed his career away, and did it all by himself.

    Jeremy Mayfield is my hero.

Jeremy Mayfield will never be in NASCAR again.

Even if there was a team that would take him (I'd say <1% chance of that), NASCAR itself would step in.

    Uh no.

I have a feeling it could be between Kurt Busch or Ryan Newman (assuming he ends up leaving SHR)

Probably not. What other good drivers that are willing to move to another will be first pick.
