It's west side versus east side in the epic throwdown bifurcations. If you cheer a basketball team from the west or football or you like the rappers from the west, then you throw up west side. That's all it is. You're just representing you like all things west.
It's not likely to get you killed. No worries.
You could give props to the world, not hatin. From the Dirty South to the East Coast and Michigan to the Caymans. You know how we do it. We're travelers. We go to Bejing for the bling bling then head bad west for the zing zing. Mix it. Word.
