I need to know how to....?

I have to get up earlier than I used to, but I tend to sleep threw my alarm. I don't have a problem with the snooze button, I just sleep threw the alarm. How can I undo that and wake up in the mornings when I'm supposed to?

The only thing that wakes me up is my iPhone/iPod alarm. I will not wake up to an alarm clock. It seems stupid to use a 300-400$ device to wake you up but it's the only thing that can.

Do have someone who can call you? Maybe the different sound from a phone or even a different alarm would help. It is short notice for this situation, but in the future maybe buy an alarm clock for the deaf. Alarm clocks for the deaf use vibration or bright flashing lights to wake them. You should order one even if it is too late for this time because you could use one in the future.

Last minute idea. A long shot but the best I can come up with. Ok 2 ideas:

If you have a security alarm for your house that is monitored by a company maybe you could ask the company to test it at the time you need to get up. The risk would be that they don,t do it at the right time and you would still be late. They are very loud!

The second would be a timer if light does do a good job of waking you up then buy one of the timers for a wall socket that automatically turns on at a certain time. Plug the lamp in to it and test to see if you set it right. Buy a very bright bulb and put the lamp close to your bed. Something like a desk or reading light would work best because the arm is bendable and you could place it to shine right into your eyes but still far enough away from the bed so that you would have to actually leave the bed to turn it off. Maybe one for each side of the bed so make sure the automatic timer can handle two items to be turned on.

Use an alarm sound that wakes you up. Buy a new alarm if you have to, a very loud high pitched one until your body clock gets used to the new wake up time.
