i have a question about icing.?

I ate sugar cookies from this bakery but my teacher brought them so I don't know where the bakery is or what it is called. They had the most delicious icing ever! It was pale white/clear and I need a recipe that's similar, please help.

Sounds like a simple icing-sugar glaze that was made without food coloring.
You can make it thinner or thicker, color it or not.
It dries quite quickly and is not sticky once dry.

it could be an egg white glaze, that is brushed on the cookies before baking.

I suggest you do "google images" on the two types of icing and see which one looks most like what you had.
