how to convince my father to let a friend over?
my dad is pretty pissed at me right now because of bad school grades. (like C's and ONE D+) plus its the last quarter so he's making me study EVEN ON WEEKENDS. but.. my friend wants to come over on friday for a sleepover because his mom and sis are leaving for 3 days so he'd be left alone with his father. he wants to sleep over at my house because his weekend would be a tottal bust. BUT i need to convince my dad to let 'im over otherwise.... :p

Just tell him the truth, Why you want him over. But I understand my dad wouldnt let him come over either he would say something like i need to focus on school or something but if he doesnt let him just accept and move on there will be plenty of other weekends during the summer.
