My mom won't let me get cute underwear?

Ask your mom for boy shorts:) I'm 14 & I got my mom to let me buy cute underpants by buying boy shorts. They are like underpants but they look kind of like shorts, they are pretty thin and really comfortable and nobody knows you have them on. LaSenza has them:)

You could also ask your mom for Bandea Bras. They look kind of like sports bras but more supporting and they cover a slightly more cleavage.

Just keep asking her but don't act childish and throw a tantrum, that never works. And don't act mad either, just keep her in a good mood and eventually she will let you:)

Cute Underwear

I'm the same age and I totally agree! It's not like you're going to be slutty or anything, and it's not like you necessarily want someone to see it. It's just like a little confidence boost to wear something cute like that, and it can make you feel good to look good looking in the mirror or something. When I started wanting to do stuff like this I did it kind of subtly. If you shop in the WOMEN'S department for bras at Walmart, it's a lot better and sometimes you can find cute bra's, and just don't try and buy anything too extreme too fast, since your mom sounds like a total prude. I started not wearing under wear from the pack by telling my mom they didn't fit well, so she started letting me buy them individually, like in the bins at stores. And if you have any money to yourself, buy underwear on your own, go into cute places by yourself or with friends. Alright, sorry for the incredibly long answer.

You can get cute underwear at Walmart! I know what you're going through. What your mom doesn't want is you get be knocked up. And yeah you may not be like that. But that cute underwear to her is a "sex appeal" My parents wouldn't let me do it when I was your age. But I got older. And they just stopped caring. You can go to target, JcPenny's. They have good priced cute underwear! :P

Well thats odd. Explain EXACTLY what u just said to us and tell her to plz not interrupt u! I am almost 13 and i get most of my bras and underwear from aerie and sometimes victoria secrets. My mom knows tht im not doing anything bad! I just told her i want cute underwear and bras so when i change i wont be embarrassed. Also i like having cute things lol

1. tell her how uncomfortable they are

2. when you get your allowance go buy yourself some and hide them and then if she asks what you spend it on say that youre saving up to get something big but you dont know what it is yet and if she asks to see it just say that youre keeping it somewhere safe and not to worry about it

3. ask your mom if you could choose out your own underwear when you go to walmart

4. show her the ones you want online

5. rip holes in some of your underwear and tell her that they dont ever last you long because they always get holes and that you need different ones

6. when you go grocery shopping at walmart slip in whatever underwear you want then tell your mom that she forgot something on her list and that you dont know where it is so you can put the underwear on the belt when shes gone

I had your problem but when i was younger, so you got it worse than me. up until i was thirteen, my mom hadn't purchased me a bra yet and i wore underwear from target. I went to the mall with my friend and bought some undies, a bra, and some regular clothes. I told my mom that i just bought the regular clothes. Try it.

Totally understand you!! I think she thinks that those stores are bit provocative and still wants you to be that little girl...ya know? I know places with cute undies like Target and Khols for nice prices, but neat prints! Just if your with her walk by them and say "that ones cute" or something and say you'll pay for it! Anther way could be to ask for giftcards to Victorias Secert for birthday/Christmas etc then you would have to use it there on underwear and your mom wouldn't have a way out of that one! Jus be casual about it and check out those stores! Luck!!

Oh and for gym you could wear a camisole over your bra so it's nit as noticeable or embarrassing! Itll blow over:)

Shes afraid you're growing up too fast lol.. not much you can do since she has control over you basically. You can try to explain it to her better that you want it just cause its fun and you're not stupid and wouldn't do anything stupid with guys and such (assuming that's what shes thinking of)
