Rude questions to ask?

A while back I asked a coworker who she voted for in the election. She started off by saying that it was rude to ask, but she did tell me who she voted for. I was a little surprised because I've never heard that asking such a thing is rude, but after being explained later why I do understand. Are there any other questions like this that is considered rude to ask? Besides obvious inappropriate questions, asking a woman's age or if she is pregnant.

Rude questions usually have to do with personal issues. Many have already mentioned questions about children, race, age, gender, politics, bodily functions and religion. There are also questions like:

Why aren't you married? or Why haven't you settled down?

Why do you have that birthmark? or How did you get that scar?

    Did you get plastic surgery?

Why do you still live with your ex, your family member, etc.?

When are you getting a new car?

Why do you look so horrible today?

Also asking the same question, regardless of what it is, over and over again after the person has answered each and every time that they don't want to answer or that they have already answered is rude because it's annoying and shows a lack of attention towards what the person is saying.
