Camera on computer was hacked into taking photos of person using computer, how to trace them?

My sister age 65 had photos of self come up of her on computer. She has a lap top. One is even a video of her. And also one photos had been color app onto making the mustache face. It very much scared her. She now has a tape over the camera. She lives in a rural area. Has had lots problem comp running slow. When she called in for help was told someone had been on it for 12 hours straight. She had not. She lives with husband and is only one who used the computer. What might else she can do?

    It's a virus :/ get NORTON VIRUS (software) and do a virus scan. The virus will be detected simply right click and remove it... Also empty your trash... Happens to me often... Also change all passwords and if u checked your bank change those passwords too

    I think the other person has said it correct, but do not use norton.

    Norton will slow every pc it touches to a halt. You will notice slower boot times and consistent slowdowns loading programs.

    A lot of free Anti Virus' do a better job than norton, such as Avira Antivirus.
