    2x/y^2 * x/x = 2x^2/xy^2

    3/xy * y/y = 3y/xy^2

    (2x^2 + 3y)/xy^2

First, you need to cross multiply to get the common denominator of xy^2. Then add then.

    Your answer should be (2x^2+3y)/(xy^2).
