Why do so many professing Christians say "Jesus" lied? How, then can they have a Savior?

Mat 5:17-20 ESV "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (18) For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. (19) Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (20) For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Update:

Poor Widow, I agree that what was nailed to the cross was the death penalty, not the Law.

According to Yahshua, not the one that christianity preaches, the True Messiah would be in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights. Go figure, they teach friday to sunday... people don't see any lies!

They are following the doctrines of man and a different "savior". Christianity teaches that jesus did away with the Law, the Feast Days and Sabbath. None of that is true, yet they teach that it is true.

My dear friend they don't even know they are liars and that the truth of God is not in them.

If they could simply read 1 John chapters 1 & 2 they would see how full of error they are. But both you and I know that they must have God's Spirit to understand what the scripture says and God only gives his spirit to those who have purposed to obey Him.

God defines sin not us. God says lawlessness is sin 1 John 3:4, Yeshua will claim to have never known a law breaker when he returns Matt 7:23. And yet they continue to nail which ever portion of the law is inconvenient for them back to the cross not realizing that they are willfully sinning and thus re crucifying Yeshua all over again and publicly disgracing him. which Hebrews 6:6 forbids.

They claim they can follow Nine of the commandments and ignore the fourth not realizing that by ignoring the forth they put their own will ahead of Gods commands which is having another god before him thus breaking the first and they have made an idol of their customs and traditions and therefore just as Jesus told the Pharisee's worshiping God in vain thus breaking the second commandment and they blaspheme the name of God to the godless heathens who can readily see their hypocrisy and thus break the third commandment.

In reality they all break by ignoring the sabbath the commandment they love to quote as one of the the two commandments they must keep "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart soul and might."

And come to think of it since they are giving God a bad name and thus making a mockery of him to their neighbors they are actually harming their neighbor and breaking the other commandment they agree they should keep "you shall love your neighbor as yourself"

They really lack understanding.. But be gentle with them .. they don't have God's Spirit so they can't really understand

I could talk on this subject for hours but most of the "so called Christians" have already stopped reading having the attention span of gnats.

Something Paul said, about His having nailed the law to His cross, or something like that...I'm not gonna bother to look it up for you, I'm sure you've heard it.

As it happens, I agree with you...except for the laws about sacrifices, all of the law is still in effect. What got nailed to the cross was death...

I'm not talking about the physical death of our bodies. Every living thing must go through that, but that is not the punishment for sin...if it is, could someone please tell me what sin that tree in the vacant lot across the street committed, to deserve it's fate?

No, I mean the final and irrevocable death of the spirit (soul).

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

If he lied he broke the Law and we have no savior.

He did not come to break the Law but to make it full. Not one jot or tittle will be changed. Matt 5:17-19

the hot testomony shows the fulfilment of provides, and prophecies, made interior the previous testomony, by making use of the creation of the Son Of God, of which there are diverse examples. In Matthew 5;17 Jesus says that he has no longer come to regulate the guidelines, yet to fulfil the prophecies, and that i think of that one in all the made by making use of Isaiah, consistent with probability the main wonderful, and revealing, of the arriving of the Saviour is made in verse fifty 3.

Many meanings can be attritbuted to the sayings of Jesus. For you to hold one superior to any other and accuse others who disagree with you as confessing that Jesus lies is not even amusing. It is blaspheming the Holy Spirit who guides all Christians.
