How does gay marriage affect you?

It affects me because I won't be able to make an excuse not to make that commitment. Lol kidding aside, I personally don't care if I ever get married though i do understand the legal benefits and even the need to have that piece of paper especially if something bad were to happen. I think its ridiculous that so many people are against it.. Even ones who aren't even practicing a religion! Some people are just ignorant and wish to remain that way. Who cares.. In the end it will be legalised.. Look how long it took for equality within races or sexes.. Even now its not perfect. Just takes time.

It affects me because those gay queers are leaving us to get hitched to the women and that turns our life into a living hell. We have to put up with lacy curtains, horrible "perfumes", chemical smells in the bathroom, cute bedclothes, little lady dolls on the telephone and even on the soap in the bathroom, and all the other horrors those witches pile on us, while the gays opt out and enjoy a good life. It is not fair; they are avoiding their share.

I always stick thorns into those dolls, by the way. It works, too: every month they get pains!

Where ever it becomes legal, it will effect those people. It will stimulate the economy! Weddings can be pretty expensive. Many local businesses will benefit financially, and may start hiring staff to accommodate these new customers.

Most people in the gay & lesbian area aren't against to same-sex marriage. Good question, but you are asking the wrong audience.

You are absolutely right, gay marriage doesn't affect hetersexual marriage at all, but many people continue to believe that it does.
