TFIOS is an amazing book and if you haven't read it yet you definitely should

    1) Their relationship is different because they both have cancer and because of this they can't do things teenagers usually would because Hazel has difficulty breathing. They spend most of the book talking about books, films music ect. as well as getting to know each other.

    2) In the book there is a part where they discuss on the phone a couple who used to say 'always' to each other and it was a type of code word for 'I love you' after this they both say 'okay' to each other repeatedly and Augustus says 'maybe okay will be our always'.

    3) I think Hazel learns that she has to stop feeling sorry for herself and get on with her life because she might die at anytime and she can't just waste her life worrying.

    4) Van Houten doesn't appear to care much about Hazel and Augustus however he does go to the funeral and it's because he had a daughter who the book ' An Imperial Affliction', which he wrote, was about.

    I hope this helps!
