.

The truth that he was talking about was the truth of God. At that time the Pharisees had moved away from the teachings of God and had put their own slant on stuff to make it harder on those that worshiped. Interesting to note that Jesus gave no reply to Pilate because he could see that Pilate was being sarcastic and wasn't really wanting to know what the truth was. so Jesus knew when to speak but he also knew when to just remain silent.

The Lord did say that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. The spirit of Truth which do resides in a person that has received Christ as their Lord and Saviour. He will bring to remembrance all things. He will teach us, guide us and yes show us things from the beginning. But I truly believe that Jesus was speaking to the disciples when He said:And YOU ALSO shall bear witness, BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN WITH ME FROM THE BEGINNING. Because Jesus had to ascend into Heaven for the Holy Spirit to come.

His resurrection, he died, was buried, and then appeared several times later to his followers. His entire testimony, he performed miracles and fulfilled hundreds of prophecy from the OT.

He doesn't. If he ever did exist, which is doubtful, he's been dead for 2000 years.
