Giving guitar lessons?

My aunt asked me to give my cousin guitar lessons, i am self taught and have been playing for 8 years and have no idea where to start. she would like her to be able to play little jingles and stuff for starting off. she is 6 years old so i dont expect her to pick it up to fast, where so i start?

    For any education there's is individual approach. Look at her and try to see what she likes in guitar playing. Don't teach theory or complicated stuff, she will not want to do that. Look at her passion, her skills and her likes. Find the appropriate learning process.

    Show her some simple cords such as G, E minor, and A and find a simple song that has those three cords in it.

    Well, you should start by showing her how to hold the guitar, how to hold the pick, and how to strum. Don't forget to keep encouraging her.
