Is this paragrap gramaticallly correct?

Slowly and steadily, he walked back into the main room and switched on the lights. The table that he had sat at earlier in the night seemed to be stationed at an upward sloping angle. That made him feel a bit dizzier. On the desk was his laptop. When he got to the desk, he sat on the closest chair and booted up his laptop. When he had to type in his password qaas746fzc1 the first time, he accidentally typed an 'x' instead of a 'c'. He typed slower the second time and got it right.

"That made him feel a bit dizzier" - Unless you stated somewhere earlier in the text that he was dizzy, it should be "That made him feel dizzy".

"On the desk was his laptop. When he got to the desk, he sat on the closest chair and booted up his laptop" - It's okay. But too much repetition. You could easily combine these two things and make it "When he got to his laptop that was on the desk, he sat on the closest chair and booted it up."

"When he had to type in his password qaas746fzc1 the first time" - Should be "When he typed in his password qaas746fzc1 for the first time". No need for the "had".
