Sore nipples and cramping while on mirena?
I got the mirena iud inserted a few weeks ago and since then i have had no period just some spotting and random cramps that come and go that are pretty sever they only last for a few seconds and my nipples are very tender and sore i want to know if this is normal could i be pregnant i haven't took a pregnancy test yet...and when i got it inserted me and my boyfriend had sex the next day i dont know how long you were supposed to wait after you get it inserted until its effective

I have the mirena also. I was supposed to wait like 2 weeks to have sex I think. but I got cramps from it too and spotting. my periods are much lighter and shorter. but I would check with your doctor cuz im not sure if it was effective yet when you had sex. better safe than sorry.

Usually the doctor inserts the medina on the 3rd day of your period if not done like this you should be careful for one month get a preganacy test done
