Is this paragraph gramatically correct?

Microform reels allowed for storage of data. Libraries used microform reels to store previously published media editions. To make the data on the reels viewable, libraries converted the data digitally onto a computer through a device. It was a good way to preserve old text.

    I think you mean microfilm or microfiche, not microform. and "old texts " would be better at the end.
