When are all the Bible Marriage people going to outlaw marriages to non-virgin women?

Because of the Bible and stuff.

Update 2:

O - I'm sorry you people are not reading the Bible section (I linked it to help you,) where it says that non-virgins that get married should be put to death by stoning.

If that happens, we might only have a marriage once every few years

They won't. There is a fine line between preaching morality and alienating your congregation. If you advocate a rule that no one will follow, you risk having the entire religion rejected. You can preach against sex before marriage, but as long as the penalty is wag of the finger you won't alienate too many people. However, because excluding non-virgin women from marriage would exclude so many people--the non-virgins and the men that would marry them--a pragmatic Christian would never advocate this policy even if it is morally "required".

First of all, the passage you quoted is from the Old Testament. That is the law, Christians are not bound by the law we died to the law when our Lord died on the cross of Calvary. That should be apparent if you have read the New Testament, specifically Romans.

Since God joined the first man and woman together in marriage (Adam & Eve) man has been looking for ways to bend the rules. Whether it is adultery, polygamy, gay marriage it does not matter. Every generation has pushed aside God's original plan and design for marriage.

or perhaps it is barely the very authentic backlash of the reality that marriage is a dated and failed employer. consistent with danger they are in simple terms searching for a scapegoat responsible for the data that statically marriage is a entire sham. decrease than a million/2 of the couples in united states of america are married, and in basic terms a million/4 survive longer than 5 years. what's sacred approximately that. I honestly have outfits older than maximum marriages now a days.

well biblically speaking a non-virgin is perfectly capable of remarrying. say she or he is widowed...they can remarry. or the pair got divorced (bible is perfectly ok with divorce contrary to popular belief....under certain circumstances abuse/cheating for some)

what isnt allowed is if a divorced pair want to remarry to each other....that isnt allowed. you split up..its for a reason..hello...& you're jsut setting yourself up for a repeat. however both divorcees are perfectly allowed to go marry someone new!

your verse on that link is talking about a whore & a liar...she said she was virgin..but was proven no. she was a liar & a whore...thats why she got stoned...not for being a non-virgin. now who's the one not reading the bible? you cant just cherry pick one little verse & say SEE? THERE IT IS! no..thats just plain stupid! its called bible STUDY for a reason.

I'm Catholic and the church believes that sex before marriage shouldn't happen but we know that it does and a lot of people get married and not be a virgin and the bible doesn't say anything about non-virgins not being able to be married. My mom wasn't when she married my dad.

The Bible doesn't say you have to marry a virgin, you can marry a widow....

I still crack up at how many Christians will quote "your body is a temple" without knowing what it means.

Hypocrisy in today's Christianity is sickening.
