My husband and I are relocating to fort Carson?

So my husband is still in AIT we live in San Diego and moving to fort Carson in Colorado. So far nobody has helped me figure out what I need to do and I'm very frustrated. We need to be put in a waiting list for on base housing and in order to apply ill need an LES statement, DEERS enrollment, copy of his official orders, and also his orders from basic training and also AIT. My husband is finishing AIT in May 8th and has to report to fort Carson on June 1st. He can barely talk on the phone except for weekends and even then it's not that long. He barely told me today that his sergeant told him I have to get on the waiting list but how can I if I can't get all that information due to the fact we can barely talk! Can I contact someone that will have all the information? How can I get everything ready? Someone please help me

  • Try the link, there is a page for housing on it as well. Pretty sure that Rubio's has crossed into the land of Pikes Peak. Spent a few days there once many years ago...seemed low key, clean and friendly. I drove 3 people off my flight and got all their comments about where to go. We got routed to Denver due to weather so they had 2 hours to bend my ear about the town.

    Good Luck

visit the Tricare workplace once you get to ft Carson. Colorado Springs is chock full of armed forces bases and hospitals and is probable between the nicest places you are able to desire to be stationed. i'm slightly biased because of the fact i became into born on the Air stress Academy wellness facility... i would not go shouting that your husband is a fister. there are a lot of human beings interior the armed forces that do no longer even comprehend what it is and it will reason a great style of uncomfortable laughter.

Some bases do not put you on the housing list until you arrive to your duty station. Check out the link below and you can look up the policies and contact information for Ft Carson.

Source(s): Active duty, have PCS CONUS to OCONUS and vice versa several times.
