Pregnant with 2nd child, what's the transition like?

My wife and I will have a son in about 4 months, around the same time our daughter turns 2. We're both curious as to how this will affect day to day life. Our daughter likes to help, but also is used to our undivided attention. There will be jealousy issues, I'm sure that's normal. What was the transition like for you when you had child #2?

Its hard at first but it takes time to get use to. I have 4 kids so I have been through this twice. It takes a few months to get use to. Be ready for sleepless nights. Don't worry this wont last forever. Just make sure you keep a close eye on the baby around the little one because sometimes they will try to pick the baby up or hit they baby. They don't know any better so just don't leave the baby alone with the toddler even for a few seconds. You might see some jealousy so just make sure you let the other child know she is loved, let her help with the baby.
