    "Old song" isn't really a genre. It's just considered pop, but yes, it's been around for a long, long time--even before the Illene Woods/Ken Carson version (which I did look up since I had no idea who the singers were even if I was already familiar with the song).

    Old song, It's been sung around many times Tin Pan Alley-ish. Also, jazz, show tunes, broadway. Bird, I never said 'old song' was a genre, I was stating it was an old song.....
