Would You Agree With my Game of the Week?

Bombers v Pies is played on Thursday, so usually one of the games of the season and no argument on that.

My Game of the Week or Game of the Day if you are going to get technical, would be Giants v Suns at Manuka.

Is Guy McKenna really as secure as the club would lead us the believe? Would a loss change that? How much have the Suns actually improve? Or have they had a rush at the beginning of the season and it will die down. How is Ablett playing? Will he get 40 touches in a competitive match. How about Hunt? Has he finally adapted to AFL footy?

How about the Giants? Have they actually improved as much as the results suggest? Could they win or worst case scenario, hold the deficit to 15-20 points. Will they draw a respectable crowd to Manuka?

For me a must watch game. So do you agree?

Answers with analysis please.

Update:

Q. Dockers v Tigers, as you know I would give my eye teeth to see any game. I am interested here in the result, but somehow I'm not expecting a blockbuster. And you Quadrinator is going bold this week tipping Tigs I went dockers, but I'm hoping for Tigers win.

One game a-piece last year and reasonable starts from both in 2013, all things considered. You've asked most of the Q's but my interest will be on the team stats at the end of the game, and to see if the unusually quiet Sheedy can pull a rabbit or two out of his bag of tricks.

I'm not expecting huge stats from Ablett at all this year, but I reckon he will run on for every game and given a relatively quiet role unless needed to patch holes..... keep him fresh for the rainy day !

Won't miss it... that's for sure..

There are a few that i really look forward to this week.

Essendon v collingwood, fremantle v richmond, Port v west coast, gws vs gc

Obviously the ANZAC day clash at the G is a must watch, two of the best sides in good form going head to head good stuff

Fremantle v Richmond, can Richmond work their way through the manic defensive structure of Fremantle, can they make amends for their disappointing third time against the pies last week

Port v west coast, with the eagles struggling and the power flying what would have been seen as a walk up win to the eagles becomes 50-50 now.

Giants vs suns, which side has developed which side looks more mature and which side can run out the 4 quarters the best. Both have an abundance of talent, now to see if they can have it come to the fore.

It depends whether you define the game of the week for quality of the teams involved and the play, or by the closeness of the two teams. If it's by closeness then how about Fremantle vs Richmond? The Quandrinator is tipping Richmond by a very small confidence margin. I'm still listening to ins and outs before I finalise my tip, it's that close.

The game between GWS and Melbourne last week was woeful to watch. I reckon my old University vs Goulburn games were better quality! (And you would know that is saying something!!)
