Would You Have Called The Police or Should A Manager at Least Question This Guy?

In light of the Boston Marathon Bombing, our ongoing War Against Terror, and the whole "If you see something, say something - even if you're not sure if there's a danger or not" policy these days, would you have called the police if you saw what I saw today?

As I'm entering a McDonalds, a guy enters before me with a backpack across one of his shoulders, with an object inside this backpack as large as a pressure cooker. It turns out he's an employee because he walks right behind the counter and by other workers there. Nobody says a word about his bulging backpack.

I was tempted to ask the manager but since none of his co-workers said anything, I thought to myself as I drove away - well, if I hear of an explosion some time today in this area, I'll report what I saw then. So I saw something but said nothing

Update:

DAVID: You give this asinine response - what should i expect though, right? coming from a dimwit like you - and then you agree with me that I should have talked to a manager - which i didn't do because i looked at a lot of possibilities and decided if no one else that works with the guy has any concerns, I shouldn't either

K.W.: What do you think the "If you see something, say something - even if you're not sure if there's a danger or not" policy is all about, huh? it's pretty much the opposite of what you say "never report anything you don't actually know about or have a command of the facts in question". To me, this is what the manager of the place should have had in his mind when he sees his employee walk in with the backpack loaded with who knows what until you find out. What would it have hurt and what might it have prevented?

Update 2:

HEBLEU: Read the question dummy - the guy was an employee there - he didn't just come in for a burger. And reporting him is different than asking him or to be more correct, the manager to find out - to be 100% sure to use your words - of course it's horrible - welcome to the world today.

Do what you gotta do but don't stereotype. If he came in for a Big Mac and you report him that is just horrible. Nobody deserves that so if he has something be 100% sure.

OMG ARE YOU RETARDED? how many people do you see with heavy packs around the schools, colleges, stores, etc. You should talk to the manager, and let him know about your concerns.

it could be a huge number of things. I don't think it should be reported
