Is Barcelona still the best club in the world?
Who here can honestly say that Barcelona is still the best club in the world?
I don't think it's fair to say that Barcelona is better than Real Madrid considering that Real's record against Barça this season is 3-2-1 so it's quite obvious that Real Madrid has their number, Bayern is obiously better than Barça. Barça would have lost 7-0 had referees called Bayern's penalties. PSG was able to go undefeated against Barça, Celtic beat Barça, Milan beat Barça.
Is Barça really still as good as we think they are?
Don't get me wrong, I still think Barcelona are a world class team, with world class players and probably one of the best teams to walk the earth but nothing lasts forever.

Many people thought Bayern were a better team than Barcelona prior to last night.

they may not be the best club in the world anymore but they are one of the best.
and their dominance might be coming to an end now.
as for Danial saying they played defensively, LOL, thats how they play every match. 1000 passes on the halfway line. only this time bayern didnt allow them that luxury. thats why they looked so defensive.
but this is a lesson to other clubs what happens when you build an entire team around one player to make him look exceptional. when he doesnt play or isnt 100%, the other 10 players on the field dont know what to do. the 2nd leg against PSG and Bayern match proved this.

Everyone loves to hypothesize why Barca's form has fallen DRASTICALLY. I do too, and my reason is because they lost Guardiola. Think: Barca are still the same, same players, same staff, same stadium, same name, but the only thing that changed was the manager. When Pep left, he left a hole no other manager in the world can fit. We saw Barcelona play the game with love and style. just their passing was jaw dropping, but it wasn't because they were skilled, its because they absolutely and genuinely loved Pep. They were a family and played in unison. When he left, he sort of destroyed the team. Villanova is a close match to fill the void, and Roura was a disgrace, but no one can manage and love Barca like Pep. He's the only reason why they even took the field.
I do think Barca are as good as they used to be, but they need another Pep, or perhaps the man himself again, to bring it out of them.
I think if Pep managed Barcelona today, Bayern never would've scored at home, nor have a chance to move on.

I'm not sure about it but you can't try a team for only one match... By the way, Real Madrid wasn't much better than Barca... But the German teams were magnificient.
