I suggest "El Mariachi", Robert Rodriguez debut film, and way better than "Desperado".

    And Steven Spielberg's debut "Duel".

I also recommend "Manhunter" from 1986, the first Hannibal Lecter film. (Few people know that "Silence of the Lambs" is actually the second!!)

And "Pitch Black", one of the very few Vin Diesel-films worth seeing.

"Art of War" a thriller with both a complicated story, and martial arts!!
