1. U2 spy planes after suspicious activity (Soviet diplomats visit Cuba)
2. Basically the US ships could see Soviet convoy and even fired warning shoots to force them leave
3. Krushchev phoned Kennedy!!!, both agreed the crisis must be stopped
4. The Soviets would remove missiles from Cuba if US missiles removed from Turkey, Italy (secret)
