stinkbugs...do they have a purpose?

stinkbugs.....they are slow, laborius, odd shaped tank looking insects which just seem to exist and dont do anything in particular but stink if you kill or bother them.....WHAT DO THEY DO??? I think every insect has a reason to live on this planet and has a purpose....what is the stinkbugs purpose???

    That's the great thing about nature. There are thousands of variations of the same species. Don't you think it is a little excessive? There is no stopping nature. Species will continue to split into groups and go though modifications, generating more species.

    If there was only cows, chickens, pigs, grass, a few fruit trees, a few insects, humans, then the god idea would seem more plausible.

    It looks good on the outside but when you touch them the stink rubs off on you....maybe possible lesson in lust and self-control.
