Laptop battery not charging while in use?
When I am using my laptop and the battery is low if I plug in the charger it will not charge and both the start light and battery lights flash orange. It is a new battery. Any suggestions appreciated.
Yes, the battery charges when it is not in use so I don't think there is a problem with the charger.

No? It could be that the actual charger is defected and needs replacing. My laptop in 2 years have gone through 4 brand new chargers =/ its annoying...and expensive.
EDIT:
Right it could be that your new battery cant charge at the same time the computer is on.

The charger isn't producing enough current to charge the battery and run the laptop.
Look at getting a replacement chargerâº

Try replacing the charging cable, if this doesnt fix it, send it off to be repaired.
