Will admiral beat an online quote if I phone them?

Ok, So i've been quoted around £1000 for my insurance through the admiral site, I was wondering if they would beat that quote if I phoned them and spoke to them over the phone.

Or are online deals always better?

Here's a novel idea; why not ring Admiral and ask THEM. At worst all they can say is no. The on-line quote, if you've registered an interest, is usually valid for 30 days so ringing them won't affect that. It would help your case if you could find some cheaper quotes elsewhere before ringing them, but they are their to get new business so negotiate.

Ok so. No one here can possibly know if some insurance company will beat another. All you can do is to try. I don't like online business, I think it is too cold, impersonal, and robot driven (everything must be absolute. There is no reasoning) I prefer speaking face to face with a local insurance professional who has both a brain and a local office. Ok so.

    Ok so

taking to an agent will probably find you additional discounts, however, online has not ran your credit or drivers license number. If something shows up incorrectly, "online" can't fix it, where as an Agent can.

Phoning is usually better as you can haggle.
