Anyone know of any good interesting places in or around County Durham (UK) where I can go to take some interesting photo's?

Mainly like taking landscape photographs and just got my first car a few days ago so can travel more without relying on busses.

One place Im looking to visit shortly is High Force, I was wondering of any other places with good views and suchlike.

Ok, So i've been quoted around £1000 for my insurance through the admiral site, I was wondering if they would beat that quote if I phoned them and spoke to them over the phone.

Or are online deals always better?

Ok, so some people may think it strange, but I hear that there's a lot of people who have named their cars, Im hopefully getting my 1st car on friday or saturday and getting so excited :) and kinda like the idea of naming a car.

Just wondering if anyone else has named theirs and if so what do you call it?

So, been revealed the 2nd Boston Marathon suspect wasnt the guy in the house, the guy in the house isnt a suspect in the attacks, not revealed why he wouldnt come out of the house yet, but what now?

ok, so already passed my test in december, hoping to get a car in just under a fortnights time :) so excited.

most of the time will be to and from work but I was wanting some other ideas of what I can do when I first get my car.

few things I want to do so far.

- maybe goto some carboot fairs/auctions etc...

- do some geocaching with my nephew (like a big worldwide treasure hunt thing based on gps coordinates)

just want some ideas of other things I can do.

OK, so hoping to get my first car within the next month, recently turned 23 and been looking at some options but nothings totally decided.

I want something that I could pick up in good condition, Taxed, MOT'd and MOT passable standard for between £500-£1500-ish.

Also something that wont be too much to insure (£900-£1200-ish) so basically nothing more than 1.3 or 1.4 litre at most.

So far options are along the lines of...

Hi, I have a problem with my browser, there is no sound playing on any flash based web content such as

- Youtube Videos

- Flash Games

- Etc...

Though for java applets/games (Runescape) the sound is working fine.

And the rest of the sound on my pc is working ok, i can play music and games fine, and my sound works on msn/webcam.

I've checked the settings in the control panel, none of them are muted and they're all turned up.

I've downloaded and made sure flash and the required plug-ins for my browser are upto date.

Any help would be appreciated (my browser is firefox, and I dont have IE installed on my computer to test in there)

What are your thoughts on fluoxetine (aka prozac)?

I've recently been put on it by my doctor due to depression.

Have you been on it before or has someone you know, and did it help or make things worse?, i know it can sometimes have bad side effects

Now first of all i'm 20 so I'll be fine out on my own and stuff.

And i'm not doing this for attention or to hurt anyone, i just need time to clear my head.

I've already packed my bag and it's nearly 1am so was thinking of going soon.

But i'm meant to be doing a disco tomorrow for a little girls birthday and would hate to ruin her birthday.

I just dont know how much longer i can cope with things the way they are in my life, I've lost my child due to a miscarriage and my gf split with me too and i think a few days alone would help me out a lot.

I could never imagine hitting a child myself if i were a parent.

But i was hit as a child when i misbehaved and would probably have kept getting in trouble throughout my life without the strict upbringing i recieved.

So i just wondered What others thought.

tried the usual, music on loud and an extra thick curtain up to stop the flashing.

Also trying cuddling upto her which works a little but not much.

What else can i try?

This seems to happen to me every now and again, maybe once or twice a year at the most.

And completely out of the blue.

I'm pretty healthy, i walk a bit so am quite active, but not excessive.

I'm about average weight and height.

I'm 20, about 5'10' and weigh about 12 stone.

It just feels like there's so much pressure on my shin bones, but then most days it's fine.

I dont have weak bones or anything either.

Any ideas?

Theres a PC game I used to play years ago.

I thought it was called DB Quest or something along those lines but I can find it anywhere.

Its a text based/ascii art kind of game, I think the character resembles the @ character of a keyboard, but not sure.

Anyway, you quest through dungeons and fight monsters etc... there are traps, treasure, most of the things that are in quest games, just it's really simple and in text/ascii format.

Any ideas what it is called and a link to it or a screen shot if possible so I can check it is the right game.
