Will your BEST ANSWER be the one?

Question

I've been at this Yahoo Answers game forever.  Or does it just seem like that?  I NEVER thought I would accumulate enough points to achieve Level Seven and share the honors with some of my most respected fellow Answer Team members.  But now, I FINALLY find myself with less than 50 points to go to make that big step to Seventh Heaven?  LOL  I can only wonder who among you will give me a BEST ANSWER vote to one of your questions which I've just recently answered, and will it be your vote that finally carries me up and over the 25,000 points I needed to make the rank?  I guess we're about to find out, and before this day is over.  And I want to SINCERELY thank you ALL who have supported my efforts with your positive response to my answers.  I make a very conscientious effort to give you honest and factual answers above and beyond the normal (?) replies and based on MANY years as a professional outdoorsman.  Your votes,  comments, and compliments have encouraged me to continue in that effort.  I feel like I have made some very good friends from among your ranks.  I hope I may have been included among some of yours as well.  Thank you.

I've only been here a little over 2 years myself, but in that time I have come to realize that there are some very knowledgeable people here on various subjects, people who actually KNOW what they are talking about, and give good answers and excellent advice to the questions asked.... But, there are others who can't resist ""giving answers"", even tho they are quite often obviously totally clueless about the subject. It is just a shame that the questioner usually doesn't know the difference.

I don't recall ever reading one of your answers that I did not agree with, and/or learn something from. Your knowledge has obviously been gained thru actual experience... And at the age of 62 years myself, I've come to realize that there is no real substitute for actual experience. It truly is the best teacher of all. And I would be remiss if I did not readily admit that I have learned things from you myself.

Congrats on reaching Level 7, and even tho it is not often said, let me say, "Thank You."... And I hope you continue to help people with your knowledge, sage advice, and common sense....... I only pray that those people asking the questions are able to separate the experiences of those who "have actually walked the trails and seen the varmint",  such as yourself, from the "day dreams and arm-chair experiences" of those who actually haven't, but can only wish they had.

Welcome to the "Level 7" Club! That's a big milestone to reach this level. I too work at giving the best possible answers. I jump around to many different sections here on Y/A, so I answer all kinds of questions. I even received a free meal from a restaurant recently for the answer that I gave, so you never know who's asking the question. Answer on my friend, and I'll be looking for you on Y/A.
