I'm an older guy, in my 60's. I was born into a hunting/shooting/fishing, outdoors oriented family and have been a hunter, shooter and fisherman all my life. I was certified by the OK. Dept. Of Wildlife Conservation, the OK. St. University, and the OK Trappers Association as a trapping instructor, and taught a number of people the craft... I am also a disabled veteran.
What happened to yahoo answers? ... I can't find anything.?
This new set up is a PIA... I can't find anything. It's complicated, and difficult to get around in. It just isn't worth it any more to try to figure it all out.... I wish you would change it back to the way it was... I'm sure you will loose alot of people, besides just me, with it like this.
12 AnswersHunting8 years agoA question about a new small truck or car?
My wife and I are older folks, retired, and I am somewhat disabled. We presently own a fairly new Ford F-150 King Cab, and we want to keep this truck for longer trips... But, we are in the market for a small truck or car, (new, and as roomy as possible due to my disability), but the major criteria is that on our fixed income we can only afford a payment of 200 dollars a month, at most... We just want something small and economical, but dependable, to use for short trips around town, shopping, to the doctor, drug store, visiting, etc.... I realize this is alot to ask, but I'm hoping there are at least a few vehicles that fit this niche... We want to buy, not lease, and while we can afford a little money down, we will not have a trade-in.
Any and all suggestions appreciated. We'd like to compile a list of the vehicles that fit this criteria, if possible, so that we can look into them all before deciding or talking to a dealer... My wife and I thank you for taking the time to answer.
2 AnswersBuying & Selling8 years agoTransporting a handgun in Nevada?
I have a concealed carry permit in Oklahoma, where I live... My family and I are taking a short vacation to Las Vegas in a week or so.... We are taking one route out, and another back home. Every state we will pass thru, both going out, and coming back home (10 in total), honors Oklahoma's concealed carry permit, except Nevada itself, which is the only state that doesn't............ My question is this.... Is there a specific way I need to carry/transport, or store, my handgun while I am in the state of Nevada...like for instance does it need to be unloaded, the ammo and gun stored separately, specific types of storage containers such as the original plastic "case" in came in, one or both locked up...can it just be stuck in a suitcase...etc., etc. ? ... I've looked everywhere I could think of, and even asked on several forums, and I can find nothing specific about this... I hate to leave the gun, and/or the ammunition, locked in the car while we are spending the night in a hotel, but I don't want to carry it and/or the ammo into the hotel, in a suitcase, and have a problem there either....... Any serious help/information appreciated.

I also realize I will need to have it shipped to my dealer...but I am looking for the best prices online. Can anyone give me some ideas? ... I'd appreciate it.
2 AnswersHunting9 years agoWhere did my answer go?
I am rather new to Yahoo answers, so some of you may have an answer for me.... But, I answered a question...I did not break any of the rules or community guidelines (I checked to make sure), and I did not spam, flame, rant, or anything else... I did nothing whatsoever against the rules of Yahoo Answers... I simply answered the question to the best of my ability...but, a day later my answer had disappeared.... Can anyone tell me what happened? ... Thank you for the reply.
2 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years agoNevada Concealed Carry reciprocity?
I am finding conflicting answers to my question. Some sources say one thing, and others say another. I am sure some information I am finding is older and outdated, but I can find no dates to make sure how things stand today...... I am planning a trip to Nevada from Oklahoma this summer to visit an old friend. I will be driving. What I need to know is this: Does Nevada honor Oklahoma Concealed Carry permits ?
Thank you for your reply(s).
