Transporting a handgun in Nevada?
I have a concealed carry permit in Oklahoma, where I live... My family and I are taking a short vacation to Las Vegas in a week or so.... We are taking one route out, and another back home. Every state we will pass thru, both going out, and coming back home (10 in total), honors Oklahoma's concealed carry permit, except Nevada itself, which is the only state that doesn't............ My question is this.... Is there a specific way I need to carry/transport, or store, my handgun while I am in the state of Nevada...like for instance does it need to be unloaded, the ammo and gun stored separately, specific types of storage containers such as the original plastic "case" in came in, one or both locked up...can it just be stuck in a suitcase...etc., etc. ? ... I've looked everywhere I could think of, and even asked on several forums, and I can find nothing specific about this... I hate to leave the gun, and/or the ammunition, locked in the car while we are spending the night in a hotel, but I don't want to carry it and/or the ammo into the hotel, in a suitcase, and have a problem there either....... Any serious help/information appreciated.

open carry is legal in NV....so OC while there....
or use federal transport laws.....meaning unloaded in a locked case in the trunk
NV also issues non-res cwps but doubt u have time to get one...
oo just checked LOADED FIREARMS can be legally carried in vehicles...just cannot be concealed on the person......
