Where did my answer go?

I am rather new to Yahoo answers, so some of you may have an answer for me.... But, I answered a question...I did not break any of the rules or community guidelines (I checked to make sure), and I did not spam, flame, rant, or anything else... I did nothing whatsoever against the rules of Yahoo Answers... I simply answered the question to the best of my ability...but, a day later my answer had disappeared.... Can anyone tell me what happened? ... Thank you for the reply.

Update:

Thank you for the reply Honest Abe... I learn something new every day.

Update 2:

.........................

Ray G... I don't recall the exact wording of the question now, but it was something like, "How do I make a sling shot and where do I find the materials?"...and I basically told the asker that when I was a kid back in the 1950's I used a "Y" branch cut from a tree limb and peeled the bark, a leather pouch cut from an old boot tongue, and rubber bands cut from old inner tubes (of course back then they used real rubber for inner tubes)...but that he could get the larger rubber bands from a printery, or a store like Staples, and accomplish the same thing.

Update 3:

***************************************************

Abe and Ray, I thank you both...you have both helped me to better understand Yahoo Answers...and I see my answer there now as well...I don't know what the deal was with it earlier........ But thanks guys.

Edit: thanks for the further information.

I managed to Google the question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=201209...

It's in voting, and your answer is intact. It must be some glitch that temporarily stopped you viewing it, because there's certainly nothing wrong with your answer.

Maybe the question asker did not like your response so he deleted it. Or perhaps you clicked "Preview" instead of "Submit" so you really never posted a response.
