What can I make with crushed cookies?

I baked some cookies yesterday and they turned out to be rock hard... So I would like to crush them and use the cookie pieces to make something else. Anyone know of any fun things I can make with crushed cookies?

It depends on what kind of cookies they are but it probably won't matter too much, with crushed cookies you can make a cookie crumble, you can make an apple pie and put the cookie inside - that always tastes good or you can out them in brownie mix and have the crushed cookies be a substitute for nuts. You can do a lot with crushed cookies, or you can make a cheese cake and have the bookies be on top or on the bottom.

    Hope this helped(:

if you are looking for the oreo cookie without the creme, if you go to the pie section at safeway/vons, they have oreo crust which is just the chocolate part of the cookie. You could buy some of those and crush them. The best way to do it is to put it in a sturdy plastic bag and crush it while you watch tv or do something else, throw it around, put it on the table and bang on it. I wouldnt reccommend blending it or anything it will turn to powder!

If you like coffee, this is really good!

    Cookie Crumble Frappuccino:

All you have to do in freeze some coffee in ice cube trays then put them in a blender with some more (liquid) coffee and milk or cream. Add some sugar or syrups if you want it on the sweet side. Blend it, pour it in a tall glass, then top with whipped cream and more cookie crumbles!

    Sooo good!

Those cookie crumbs would make great truffles! The recipe can be found at:

For what it's worth...Years ago, a former neighbour of ours used to make "parfaits" out of leftover chocolate chip cookies that had become a bit hard after a few days. As we later learned, all she did was break the cookies up into bite-size pieces and whip up some heavy cream (sometimes she may have just used Cool Whip). In parfait glasses, ice cream sundae glasses, or even in clear plastic disposable glasses (for potlucks), she'd layer the whipped cream alternately with the broken-up cookies, "parfait-style," beginning and ending with the whipped cream. She'd garnish the top of the "parfaits" with some more finely crushed cookie crumbs and refrigerate. The whipped cream softened the cookies, making for a really yummy dessert that tasted like it was way more complicated to make than it actually was. Everyone loved those parfaits. Yet, no one ever guessed that hardened chocolate cookies were one of the main ingredients! It wasn't until they were about to move overseas that our neighbour finally shared her "complicated" recipe...and we laughed ourselves silly. (I'd forgotten about this recipe...so, thanks for reminding me!)

You can put them in a blender or food processor and use them to make a crust for a cheesecake or type of cream pie instead of using graham cracker crumbs.

Truffles. Mix them with cream cheese (no sugar needed) or ganache and roll them into balls and coat them in more chocolate.
