thinking about cheating on my boyfriend?

i have been with my boyfriend for 2 months and i really do love him. he is amazing to me, and we are best friends. But i have had feelings for another guy lately, he has a lot of what my boyfriend dosn't. he is a christian and we are so much alike. i told him that i have had feelings for him, and all i want to do his kiss him. just once, just to get over the thought of always wanting to be with him. a lot of my friends say that it will just make it worse, but i feel like if i get over the urge of kissing this dude, i can focus more on me and my bf. what should i do, im so confused and kind of feel awful about myself:(

It doesn't work like that.. you can't enter a relationship and think by experimenting just once it'll be ok... no that's stupid and immature, a basic teenage move, and it always catches up to them. What's stopping your friends from telling your boyfriend you kissed another guy? "A lot of my friends say it'll make it worse" clearly they don't agree with your selfishness. Does this guy even know you have a bf? He's a christian what if he tells your bf... there are so many risk/consequences to your immature action.. think about it

I don't Care who you are or how long someone has been in a relationship with someone if you say yes to dating someone i believe there should be a line of decency between people. Cheating is the most awful thing and just think about someone doing that to you... brake up then go after the guy anyone would rather that than be lied to and cheated on... rethink what you do.

No one likes to be cheated on unless you want the reputation of the cheater in your town you'll break up with your boyfriend before pursuing this other guy your friends are wise, by the way did you know cheating is considered a huge sin?

Well if you like another guy then just break up with your boyfriend if you cheat on him you'll just hurt him and i don't think you want to do that to him. Just talk to him and tell him you don't feel the same anymore. But don't tell him about the other guy! Maybe your friendship will stay strong and you guys can stay best friends!

if you like another guy than you do not love your boyfriend. And if you think you do then you should either forget about the other guy without making excuses such as 'if i kiss him i can focus on my boyfriend' or you should be FAIR on your boyfriend and leave him. cheating is not fair and you cannot justify it, you woudn't like it if your boyfriend did it to you so decide between the two, you cannot have both without your boyfriend getting hurt.

girlspeak...  confused = likes more than one guy

...  i really do love him = copout to justify trying to get what you really want

...  he has a lot of what my bf doesn't = would prefer to be with new guy, but don't want to completely take that chance in case he rejected me.  that way i would still have my bf, so i don't have to be alone

...  we're Christian and so much alike = i believe in god, but pick and choose which of the commandments i prefer to follow, according to what suits me best at that point in time/justification for wanting to cheat

it's ok to have poor thoughts, but to actually act on them is what would reflect poorly on you.  if you cheat, that means you are going to have to come up with some sort of lie, to coverup what you chose to do.  lying to someone that "you really do love" can have disastrous consequences.
