This is because you are taking verses within the Bible and twisting the overall context to try to make a point. In Matthew, he's addressing the themes from a religious standpoint, that you just must maintain Jesus within the utmost high regard and comply with him as your leader. However in view that it seems that you are looking to take the Sola Scriptura standpoint, let me ask you a couple questions: whilst you fill out any kind of application and there's a discipline for mom and one for father, do you write Jesus Christ? (under the father discipline)? If now not... Then you definately too have broken the teachings of the Bible as good. For the sake of humanity, please discontinue using the Bible improperly without working out the entire context of the writings.
