Can I use my own router to replace, or use along with, my verizon router?

I am not happy with the one they gave me, what happens if I replace it? What if I use two routers? What ever the solution, how do I do it?

As long as you get a router that is compatible with their service then you can replace it.

Also there is NO reason why you CAN'T use MULTIPLE routers on your network. However there is very little reason why you SHOULD, as it just adds unnecessary complexity to the network.

2 routers will make it worse. NEVER connect more than one router to the same service. They slow it down, and it can cause conflicts which disrupt or even totally stop your connection. so you would have to buy one to replace theirs.
