what to do in this family issue?
My family is getting kicked out of the place we are living at. So its a long story but basically my cousin owns the place i live in and after finding out that we couldnt buy it off of him, he is kicking us out. He hasnt came out and said he is kicking us out but he got his mother and dad to tell us. We are post to be renting this place off of him until we can buy it.But we cant afford to pay any rent or anything sense my dad poped his shoulder out and cant work and I work part time and I make minimum wage. They know this and still want to kick us out. so my question is what can i do sense my dad didnt get hurt at work and ie wont pay him and i dont make enough to pay for rent for my family.
Annie i never knew that a house that my family has been making the payments on for him for two years is his problem, he gets the tax right off of it, he is making money of us being in the places, my dad cant pay for anything because he poped out his shoulder and all he would need is like a month and a little bit to get back to work, not like we asking him to let us live for free for a year or 6 months, plus he is family so you would think he would be understandable on that.and thanks anyone one who said they are going to pray for my family.

Wow you and your family will be homeless. Maybe your parents can speak to the cousin to let you stay till you all can get some assistance from your govt. Do you have Salvation Army organisation in Canada, or lifeline, they can help with housing you, till you get on your feet. I hope your cousin can find it in his heart to let you and family stay on.

That's sad. I mean, if your cousin NEEDED the rent money from you guys in order for it to remain his, then you have to understand why he can't just let you live there for free. I know things are tough on you, but everyone has to make a living somehow. HOWEVER, if he already owns the house, or its not making a difference whether you pay to live there or not--another words, if he wont lose the house when you guys don't pitch in and it would be the same, then why make you guys pay knowing your situation?? Do you know any other relatives you can stay with? Perhaps you guys can find a cheap apartment to move to for the mean while before you and your dad get a better job. There's 500 dollar apartments and lower. They are mostly 2 bedrooms but they should do. I will also pray for you. Don't be offended if you have no faith in things like that. I'm just trynna help. Hope everything works out for you! :)

The problem is, your cousin can not afford to pay the morgage, taxes, and insurance so he has to get you out so he can rent or sell it. You can not be mad at your cousin for his financial needs. You are going to have to go to HUD and get a home through them. You also need to get food stamps and medicaid for insurance. Hopefully you make enough for electricity and gas.

You can try to settle something with your cousin like a payment plan until your dad goes back to work,or you can try to get more hours if you can. I say you work more because it seems like you'll end up being the bread winner. But it kind of seems like he doesn't want you guys to live there.

your helping your family thats good have faith in god and be positive try an ebay as an extra sourse of income your dad can go to local swap meets and flea markets buy stuff and resale it on ebay you can make over 3000 $$ a month depending on what you sale right now electronics,silver,gold,ww2 stuff is hot on the market and its bringing in big $$$ hope this helped just keep the faith up high
