Some cafe's have them.
When I worked in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, UK
there were dozens of them all down the promenade
for holiday makers to call home.
The last time I was there, I saw two.
With the advent of mobile/cell phones, pay phones
are a rare sight these days.

The last one I used was within the past ten years at the grocery store (had to call a cab).
But they are still here at the apartment complex where I live in Florida but they are either you dial 911 for an emergency or you dial zero for an operator and give her your credit card number.

We do in Ireland but they have slowly been disappearing as basically they aren't used since almost everyone has a mobile. You tend to find them in places like bus and train stations, post offices, town squares etc. But basically they are a dying breed. Plus they cost a fortune to use.

They still have them where I live in the U.K. It now costs 60p minimum to make a call but you get 20 minutes for that. When I was a child it cost 4 old pence for an unlimited length call. That was the equivalent of one and half new pence.

Yes they do have some, but they are very expensive to use, even for a local call.
