Topping for chicken mushroom quesadillas?

I'm making chicken mushroom quesadillas (sauteing the mushrooms, pan frying/shredding the chicken, and adding a roasted garlic mozzarella cheese).

Typically the quesadillas I make seem more Mexican, so I pair them with salsa and guacamole. These ones don't. Would salsa/guacamole work with them, or should I go with something else?

    I would suggest yellow rice, lettuce and chopped de seeded tomatoes

    Since you're kind of going Italian, how about a marinara or Alfredo sauce?

    I think mushrooms really go with sour cream. Give it a shot.

    cilantro and queso fresco or salsa rosa or refried beans
