Switching airlines for a layover?
I scheduled a flight through Orbitz and have 2 layovers and am using 3 different airlines. Point A to B is United, Point B to C is US and Point C to D is American. Do I have to leave security to pick up my luggage and recheck it and pay for it again at each stop? I don't really have the time to do that during each layover. Thanks!

Not unless you are flying out of the country. You shouldn't need to retrieve your luggage until you get to your destination.

in case you particularly have a layover (meaning an in one day stay) you would be leaving the airport, appropriate? in case you in basic terms mean are making a connection at O'Hare and you heavily isn't leaving the airport for any reason, then no, you do no longer struggle via protection returned, you in basic terms take the tram or shifting walkway to the subsequent terminal.

When you check in for your first flight, they should tag it for your final destination. Be sure to ask them.
